Your breath, your body, your practice.

What separates a yoga practice from a pure exercise practice is the heart centered devotion and intention behind it. I am here to help you reveal your own intention and sense of devotion that is unique to you.

My training and my own practice informs my privates. I am experienced with 1:1, small groups, couples, teenagers. I facilitate an intro session to understand what is going on and learn how I can help, and how you can keep up your own practice. I meet you where you are energetically and help you move through any blocks in your practice you may be feeling. Whether you can’t touch your toes, do a backbend, stand or sit still for more than a minute, I’m here for you!

I also collaborate and bring in specialized teachers/my mentors within my network if its something where I don’t have enough knowledge to support you in the fullest possible extent.

I am available for in-person in the NYC area, on zoom for locations outside of the US, I am available to travel with you, and when I travel I also take on privates.

I am supportive of anything you may need to start, maintain, or deepen your practice.

❋ Intentional Structure

I encourage my practitioners to commit to a 75 minute practice for each session, to allow enough time for meditation, intention setting, a dharma/spiritual reflection, final rest, a good amount of movement, and pranayama.

For meditation, I encourage 45 minutes for enough time to settle down and drop-in.

❋Energetic collaboration

The relationship between student and teacher is sacred, and we will collaborate to understand where you are in your practice and how I can guide your mind body and heart towards that, or away from it depending on the situation. I am grateful to my own relationships to my teachers, which informs my own teaching.

❋ Hands on Assists

We will work through your mental or physical blocks, injuries.

With physical assists I will guide you to learn your own body, understand the energetics and anatomy of the poses, how the breath moves through the body, to further inform your own practice on and off the mat.

❋ Grounded Teaching

My teaching style is grounded & firm in the invitation, and encourages you to learn your own body. I work to find you to find the balance between effort and ease, without strain.

What separates a yoga practice from a pure exercise practice is the devotion and intention behind it. I am here to help you reveal your own intention and sense of devotion.

Wherever you are, its the perfect place to keep going. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga.
